The Legend of Nagpana Falls
According to local legend, the Ati people, the indigenous community of Nagpana, have always had a deep connection with nature. The story goes that many generations ago, the Ati were guided to the area by their spiritual beliefs and the promise of a bountiful land.
One particular tale speaks of a time when the Ati were facing severe drought. The community prayed fervently to their deities for rain. Their prayers were answered when a divine entity appeared and struck the ground with a staff, causing water to gush forth from the earth. This miraculous event led to the creation of the falls, which provided the Ati with the water they desperately needed.
